The Jazz Dinner Dance

It is that time of year again when jazz music fills the Lincoln Park Barn for a night of swing dancing and auctioning. GJHS Jazz Bands presents their annual Jazz Dinner Dance February 6.
“The dance is going to be awesome because everyone can come and have a good time, there’s even a swing dancing competition,” sophomore band member, Lewis Gillis, said.
The affair is ten dollars for adults for dinner and dancing and five students. The dinner will be pasta a salad. Dinner will start at 5:30 pm and dancing at 7:00 pm.
For those not wanting dinner, it is five dollars for adults and three for students. Dance lessons will also be offered before the dancing begins.
“The dancing is definitely the best part,” Gillis said.
